Every once in awhile I get an email asking me what all-inclusive resorts are “party central” in Cancun and the Riviera Maya.  In my last post, I attached a video about Breathless Riviera Cancun and mentioned its topless-optional Xcerelate Party Zone Pool and amenities which encourage socialization and engender a party atmosphere.  While this Breathless resort in the Riviera Maya and the new Breathless Cancun Soul located in Cancun’s Hotel Zone are recognized as luxury party resorts, there are some vacationers who still want to find a more hard core all night party which makes them feel like its spring break in their 20’s all over again.  Also, the LGBTQIA community and other “lifestylers”, such as swingers, want to find a party resort where they feel welcomed and not judged.

Well, here’s the perfect resort for all you hard core partiers.  It’s located at the west end of Cancun’s Hotel Zone and it’s called Temptation Cancun Resort, the Playground For Grownups.  It’s for ages 21+ and offers those who want to party an opportunity to do so both day and night.  Since it is so wild, there are some basic rules called “Playground Rules” if you decide to stay here:

• Only selfies and close up pics are allowed–no wide angle lens photos since some guests don’t want their identities plastered all over social media.
• While this resort is not a clothing-optional property, being topless is allowed only in designated areas.
• Guests must dress appropriately in all restaurants.  While the resort is big on wearing risqué costumes, they are not allowed while dining, nor is being topless while dining.
• Negative comments about other guest’s bodies or appearances are not allowed.
• No drug use allowed.  However, drinking is encouraged!
• Explicit sexual activities are not allowed in public areas.  However, there are a fair amount of exhibitionists who are more than willing to have sex on their balconies in the Tower section, so be prepared to be an occasional observer whether or not you wish to do so when you are trying to enjoy your balcony. But then I guess that would be enjoying your balcony for some guests…
• No partying or sleeping with any staff, if they get caught they will be fired.

If you are thinking of staying at Temptation resort, just be aware of two things–there may be brief periods of nudity at the main pool during some afternoon games run by the activities team, and also that there are a fair amount of swingers who come to this resort.  If you stay here as a couple you may get asked if you wish to participate in the swinger lifestyle for the evening or for your stay, just say no if that is not your thing and that should take care of that.

Don’t get me wrong, this resort is not all about sex, it’s about the parties!!  If you are a guest who has a terrace or balcony Jacuzzi and others find this out, you will become fast friends with many, many other guests who will want to party with you at your room.  Between the evening theme parties where guests can wear risqué costumes, the daytime pool activities, and the large ocean view Jacuzzi, you can party all day and all night until you drop.  If you want some down time, there is a more quiet pool in the resort section to your right if you are facing the ocean.

So, that’s my two cents about the most hard core party resort in Cancun or the Riviera Maya.  Temptation Resort Cancun is not for every vacationer, but if you are in the mood to party with an open mind and some sexual playfulness, you could have the vacation of your life…
