In terms of total transparency, I haven’t yet stayed at either of these two newer resorts but they are definitely on my “to do” list.  I do know from emails sent to me that many vacationers are interested in which of these resorts to choose for their next vacation.

Both resort chains have stellar reputations.  With a few exceptions (like Secrets Moxche), my preferred choice is Excellence.  My personal opinion is that they do the all-inclusive a bit better and classier than Secrets, plus I always like the option of having in-room liquor when staying on vacation.  I don’t always like to have to go to a bar to get a drink when I am relaxing in my room, but most of you who do imbibe on vacation can commiserate I’m sure.
