The new Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres resort
Hyatt is on a roll with another brand new addition to their Inclusive Collection portfolio. Hyatt states that the new Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres is slated to open late 2023 and that, so far, the project is on schedule.
This new resort’s Costa Mujeres location is supposed to be 12 miles north of Cancun; I assume this means 12 miles north of downtown Cancun. Google Maps seems to not know about this resort addition…so if you look at existing resort’s locations and how far away they are from downtown Cancun, my guess would be that this new Secrets resort would be somewhere by Planet Hollywood.
Secrets Playa Blanca will have the following:
- 509 suites
- 2 beachfront infinity pools plus a “jungle inspired pool”
- 9 dining options including 6 a la cartes
- cooking classes and kitchen tours
- 7 bars
- 8,000 sq. foot spa
There doesn’t appear to be a dedicated resort website out yet, so bookings are not yet available. Stay tuned for updates. Would you consider trying out this new Secrets resort?
