I get plenty of emails asking me about resorts that can accommodate large groups of people, whether it be larger families traveling together or groups of friends that want to vacation together.  The problem with all-inclusive resorts in this matter is that there are actually fewer properties than one would think that can accommodate parties larger than four in one room/multiple bedrooms, plus the $ can add up astronomically the larger the party is on vacation when talking about all-inclusive amenities.

So here’s an alternative to consider.  There is a business located I believe in the Akumal area of the Riviera Maya which was started by expats.  Their expertise is locating rental properties in the area which fit a travel party’s needs including the size of the party.  They even have villas for rent that can accommodate large groups all staying in one place–some properties are oceanfront and even have their own pool.  They can arrange for groceries to be delivered upon arrival (remember, this is not an all-inclusive) or they can also arrange for a private chef to come in and do the kitchen work for you.
