Here’s a quick video of an example of the beautiful suites at the brand new La Casa de la Playa in the Riviera Maya. This boutique resort has only 63 suites and is located next to Hotel Xcaret Arte which just opened several months ago. While the resort’s website still states that the opening date for La Casa de la Playa occurred on Dec. 13, 2021, I’m still not positive that its doors are currently open for business. I will do more checking to find out and post another resort video tomorrow.

I posted a subsequent video with overall resort views, in that blog post I mentioned that the website booking link doesn’t omit any dates which would seem to indicate they are actually open for business. I did not see any “real” customers in the videos I did view, but professional videos will intentionally omit other individuals. If I read or see anything to the contrary I will post it. As far as I know, they are open. That does not necessarily mean every single amenity is available which is common for brand new resort openings.
