For those of you who don’t know (myself included), Dreams Sands Cancun has been closed since  Aug. 2022 and just reopened with the following renovations:

• new Preferred Club pool in front of the spa and new beachfront pool
• all new Himitsu restaurant
• renovations to El Patio restaurant and World Cafe buffet restaurant
• 203 guest rooms were renovated
• Explorers Club for kids was renovated
• new fitness center
• garden areas were redone

Dreams Sands is located in Cancun’s Hotel Zone within walking distance of Plaza Forum that has all the famous Cancun clubs.  It is also within walking distance of a grocery story just in case you forgot to bring something from home.  If you like smaller all-inclusive resorts with deluxe amenities, this may be the resort for you.  Just be aware that many guest rooms lack balconies.
