This is another suite review for those on a budget looking to vacation in Cancun–this time it is an adults-only resort.  Don’t let Golden Parnassus Cancun fool you; it may be a smaller and less well-known resort in Cancun’s Hotel Zone, but it has a devoted following.  If you’re 30+, on a budget, and are looking for an adults-only resort with a party atmosphere, this may be the resort for you.

The beachfront pool is the heart of GPC along with the infamous poolside Tiki Bar (open until 2 a.m.).  Many happy hours and fond memories have been made at this spot by many vacationers–the bar is so important to the resort that it was fully redone a couple of years ago.  There is also a beachfront Jacuzzi down a level from the pool–also a vacay hotspot for guests.  This resort offers a buffet restaurant, four a la cartes, a poolside snack bar, creperie (also serving coffee 24/7), four bars (including a sports bar but no swim-up bar here), and a small spa, gym, and theater.

If you are thinking of booking here, I would stick to the Club Room With Sea View or the Golden room categories.  They are very much the same in layout and view both with an in-room Jacuzzi.  The Golden room category offers a few more perks including an in-room bottle of sparkling wine and a dinner for two served inside your room (have to make a reservation for that).
