The fully renovated 450 guest room Marriott Cancun recently reopened March 2024 after being closed for a year. This resort used to be called CasaMagna and had a European meal plan with an all-inclusive optional available; the resort is now totally all-inclusive. Everything was redone, plus there were some amenities added including a children’s water park.
There hasn’t been much out on video about what the renovations look like, I just found one on YouTube which shows some of the renovations but it’s not narrated so I’m not sure what’s what…but at least you can see some of what the resort looks like. (What’s up with the lobby area lighting??)
I did read that there are some amenities that may not yet be open:
- kids water park to open summer 2024
- Kid’s Club to open summer 2024
- Pizzeria by La Isla to open summer 2024 (pizza can still be found by the lobby, however)
- Gym to be open by summer 2024 (guests can use the one next door at JW Marriott
- Mo’s Burgers and Shakes–dinner is open, however, on the lobby floor
Sounds like maybe they shouldn’t have opened yet…below is a short video highlighting parts of the resort and it is done by Mexican Vacations. What do you think? I am interested in staying at this property but I wouldn’t book it until this fall to ensure all amenities were available.
