I like many things about Atelier Playa Mujeres, but perhaps the one thing I appreciate the most is its attempt to keep improving itself and its amenities.  While some of those specifics haven’t been cheap, like the reassignment of many suites to the upgraded Inspira room category, here’s something that will help guests to feel a bit better about what they get for their vacation dollar.

For those of you who enjoy the free mini-bar items typically included in most all-inclusive resort stays, some resorts offer upgraded mini-bar items.  Atelier has decided to offer an upgraded mini-bar to all resort guests while still keeping its Rolling Bar offerings of whiskey, tequila, vodka, rum, and champagne for Inspira guests.

From what I understand, all guests will receive the Signature Upscale Minibar which will include “premium  and top-shelf liquors and wines plus sweet and salty gourmet snacks”.

There is a picture on Atelier Playa Mujeres’ Instagram account of a filled bar cart with drink and food offerings (not pictured here)–it is not clear whether all those items are now included in personalized mini-bar offerings for all guests or just Inspira guests.  Does anyone else know?  Jot down a comment below in the comments section and let us all know!  I just may have to go back to this wonderful resort and check it out myself….
