After being closed since June 1, 2025, Paradisus Cancun reopened their doors to guests April 1, 2026.

I must say, however, that if you are going to be doing extensive renovations I don’t see why the half-walls on their balcony rooms were left intact–must be budget-related.  That leaves shorter vacationers like me struggling to see over the top when seated on balcony chairs.  I can’t really enjoy my ocean views unless I stand and what’s super relaxing about that?  At least they put in a new water park area, it’s not much but at least it keeps the little ones busy during a vacation.
