Mea culpa, I just ran across this rooftop terrace suite so obviously I had not mentioned it in my last series of highlighted rooms (rooftop terrace suites).  So, let’s get to its wonderful amenities…

I stayed at Dreams Playa Mujeres back in 2017 months after its opening.  It’s a great resort I would highly recommend for a lot of different reasons–on-site disco, lazy river for upgraded Preferred Club guests, two waterslides, very large main pool with one of the most expansive swim-up bars I’ve ever seen, a very neat grotto bar, two beach bars (one is for Preferred Club guests), lots of Bali beds around the property, plenty of restaurants, and adult access to Secrets Playa Mujeres right next door.

Since I stayed in a PC Jr. Suite, I was not aware that this particular room category had a flight of stairs leading up to the rooftop.  And that is in addition to the massive terrace space right off the living room area.  Here are some of the amenities which makes this room category very special:

• It’s considered to be an oceanfront room.  That means you have ocean views from both the terrace and the rooftop spaces.
• Large plunge pool on the terrace which is off of the living room area.  This space also offers two full padded loungers plus access leading to the rest of the resort including the beach.
• Rooftop terrace with large seating area plus a Jacuzzi.
• HUGE bathroom area

Given the overall space offered in this suite, this room category would be ideal for small wedding parties or corporate events.  Guest capacity is a total of three (there is a sofa bed in the living room), but the minimum age to stay in this suite is age 13.
