If you’ve ever stayed at a resort in Cancun, you will know that there are many that offer a “Vacation Club” membership which is similar to a timeshare offer.  One of the more popular such resorts is Royal Sands Resort and Spa  (Royal Resorts is the company which owns and operates this resort); this resort is located in the Hotel Zone.  Getting the all-inclusive meal plan here depends on how you book it–if you book through a member you have the option of getting the all-inclusive meal plan, but if you book it through the website or through a wholesaler, you will be getting the all-inclusive package.

There are two “phases” to this resort, Phase I with the party atmosphere, and Phase II which is much more quiet but still offers its own pool, swim-up bar, etc.  The property has put in one of two beachfront Jacuzzis in Phase I beachfront and is currently working on the other.
