For those of you familiar with the multiple Hotels Xcarets (Hotel Xcaret Mexico, Hotel Xcaret Arte, and La Casa de la Playa), you know that once you paid for your resort stay in full you were given access to their “Wishlist” which meant you could make reservations at specialty restaurants, select parks, and select excursions. There evidently has been some very recent changes which will affect their Wishlist policy.
According to what I’ve read, Wishlist request changes will only affect Hotel Xcaret Mexico. Reservations once made via the online Wishlist will be made upon check-in, so expect some lengthier check-in times. The old system (at this time) will still be in effect at Arte and the luxury La Casa property. If management has decided to pull back from this new policy change please let me know!
There is also a time change for Xplor Park in terms of resort guest access using the resort’s complimentary transportation. Hotel Xcaret property guests will only be able to use provided transportation from 11-3 to this particular park; resort guests can still arrive and depart according to park hours, but you will have to get your own transportation there and back if you decide to go earlier or leave later than their new hours.
