In the process of finishing up my book, I am finalizing my lists of various resort amenities for easy reference–I’m trying to finalize one of the most difficult and that is a list of all-inclusive resorts in Cancun and the Riviera Maya that have heated pools. (Also one of my most requested pieces of info when people email me with specific requests).
Here’s my existing list; when mentioning a resort in general there can be one or more pools that are heated–sometimes I know of specific pools that are heated and not others and those will be listed below. Just because a resort has the ability to heat their pools doesn’t automatically mean they will turn on their pool heaters until guests complain, or they won’t turn on their heaters to a comfortable temperature–again, until guests complain. The first time I stayed at Live Aqua in the month of February this was the case; I talked to a lot of guests that had the same opinion that the pools did not seem to be heated, but within two days of multiple guests complaining to management the pools became much more comfortable for swimming.
If anyone can add any more resorts please let me know–thanks for helping a gal out!
