It’s understandable that vacationers don’t want to waste time and/or money while on their trip–after all, that’s part of why I decided to start this blog in the first place.  The more info you know about your vacation destination prior to your trip , the less likely you will be to waste your time or money.  For those vacationers headed to the Riviera Maya and can’t decide between spending time and money daytripping to Playa del Carmen or Tulum, here’s a video done by Monkey Abroad to help you decide what’s best for you and/or your family.

Just a note about all-inclusive resorts in both Playa del Carmen and Tulum–there is only one such resort within the town of Tulum and that one requires guests to travel to another beach area due to its inaccessible shoreline.  Playa del Carmen, however, has several that are within easy walking distance to the 5th Ave. shopping area of downtown Playa del Carmen.  My next post will be highlighting those resorts so that you can choose an all-inclusive resort close to the town you may want more time to explore.
