Just my luck to be on vacation and “unplugged” when the BIG news came in. Looks like everyone’s wait is over–the new overwater palafitos at EDM are available to book. Hopefully there is a travel agent you are working with; if you don’t already have one there are several I have referenced on this site as well as some who have left comments on prior EDM posts. Good luck, and don’t wait too long to book this room category if you are interested.
Just got word that the EDM Overwater Palafitos suite category opening date has been set forward a couple of months to Sept. 2016. This change occurred because the resort is making changes to the palafitos’ floor plan in order to make the lounge and bedrooms larger than the first one’s which have been completed and shown to travel agents. They are also planning on putting in a spa and restaurant specifically for guests staying in this room category as well.
Desire Resorts is offering a “secret sale”–it’s a secret because when booking you won’t know which Desire resort or room category you will have until two weeks prior to arrival. Bookings can only be made on the dates of Feb. 17, 18, and 19, while stays are good for June 1-30, 2016 (four night minimum stay required). If you’re interested, check out this link.
Sandos Caracol just completed a new addition to their waterpark and added many new slides for both children and adults. Looks awesome (and some look scary at the same time!).
If I hadn’t seen the video and photo, I never would have believed it. A funnel cloud touched down in Nichupte Lagoon this past weekend (last weekend of Jan. 2016) but didn’t do any real damage–thank goodness! What’s going on with the weather in Cancun?
